Motor Cargo Express was founded in 2021 to serve a specific gap in Arizona shipping: companies that need same-day local pickup and delivery service. The national carrier networks are built for overnight loads sorted at 2 AM. Same-day does not fit that model. We built MCE around same-day from day one.
We are asset-based. Our drivers are W-2 employees, not independent contractors pulled off a load board. Our trucks are dock-height with liftgates and electric pallet jacks. Our dispatch is in Phoenix and answers when you call. When you ship with Motor Cargo, you are working with the same people every time.
Quality is the only metric we let drift in our favor. We have a 0% claim index because same-day means less handling, and less handling means less damage. The trade-off most carriers make (cheap freight, high claims, hours on hold) is not one we are willing to offer.

Andrew came up through the national LTL industry at Con-way and Reddaway, where he ran inbound operations routing built around quadrant-based zones and historical load data. He started Motor Cargo Express because the same-day shippers in his network had a problem the national carriers were not built to solve.
He handles new business, customer accounts, and daily operations.

Jerod runs dispatch and invoicing. With more than two decades in transportation operations, he is the person on the radio when a driver hits a snag and the person who makes sure your invoice matches what we actually delivered.
