Motor Cargo Express is an asset-based LTL freight carrier, not a courier or cargo van service. Our trucks are 16 to 26 feet, dock-height, with liftgates and electric pallet jacks on every unit. Our drivers are W-2 employees. Same-day means same-day.
We move non-hazardous dry van product: single pallet and multi-pallet shipments, volume, hot shot, final mile, and time-critical orders.
We don't try to do everything, but what we do, we do well.
Same-Day Phoenix
Our core service. Built for shippers whose supply chain runs on the same business day.
Scheduled online or by phone before 10 AM, delivered by 5 PM. Both shipper and consignee within 50 miles of central Phoenix.

- Distributor moving inventory between warehouses
- Manufacturer with a line-down emergency
- Retailer expecting a delivery to open the doors
- Logistics partner needing a local Arizona leg
- Distressed loads, after-hours, weekend, and holiday runs (by quote)
Same-day comes at a 30 to 40 percent premium over next-day or national LTL. The math works because the alternative — a missed window, a stalled production line, a stocked-out shelf — costs more.
Phoenix–Tucson scheduled lanes + statewide Arizona
For freight that does not need to move today, but cannot wait long.
Motor Cargo runs scheduled lanes to the Tucson metro and the Phoenix–Tucson corridor every Wednesday and Friday. Cities on this lane:
- Pima County: Tucson, Marana, Oro Valley, Green Valley
- Pinal County corridor: Casa Grande, Coolidge, Eloy, Florence, Maricopa city, Stanfield
- Southern AZ: Rio Rico, Tubac, Tumacacori, Amado
Outside the corridor, Motor Cargo serves all 15 Arizona counties through our Direct Points File. Statewide destinations include Flagstaff, Prescott, Sedona, Yuma, Lake Havasu, Bullhead City, Page, Sierra Vista, Bisbee, Show Low, and Payson. Scheduled by quote, based on truck availability.

- Time-critical freight on a 24-hour or 48-hour clock
- Inter-Arizona distribution legs
- Non-urgent freight where you still want a real carrier, not a load-board random

Guaranteed delivery
For freight that has to be there when promised.
Per the MCE Holdings Rules Tariff, Motor Cargo offers three guaranteed-delivery tiers:

Guaranteed service runs at a premium and is available for shipments where the cost of being late exceeds the cost of guaranteeing the delivery. Use it for surgical instruments, manufacturing parts, retail openers, court filings, and anything else where 4 PM and 5 PM are not the same answer.

Same-day zone — Phoenix metro and Maricopa County (210 ZIPs)
Daily Monday–Friday service. Scheduled by 10 AM, on your customer's dock by 5 PM. Cities include Phoenix, Glendale, Peoria, Surprise, Mesa, Tempe, Chandler, Scottsdale, Gilbert, Avondale, Goodyear, Buckeye, Anthem, Ahwatukee, Apache Junction, Fountain Hills, Queen Creek, El Mirage, and San Tan Valley.
Phoenix–Tucson scheduled lanes — Wednesday and Friday
Tucson metropolitan area (72 ZIPs in Pima County), the Phoenix–Tucson corridor (Casa Grande, Coolidge, Eloy, Florence, Maricopa city, Stanfield), and southern Pima / Santa Cruz County (Marana, Oro Valley, Green Valley, Rio Rico, Tubac, Tumacacori, Amado). Schedule by close of business the day before.
Statewide Arizona — 13 additional counties (245+ ZIPs)
Scheduled by quote, based on truck availability. Coverage spans:
- Yavapai County: Prescott, Sedona, Cottonwood, Camp Verde
- Coconino County: Flagstaff, Page, Williams
- Mohave County: Lake Havasu City, Bullhead City, Kingman
- Yuma County: Yuma, Wellton, Somerton
- Cochise County: Sierra Vista, Bisbee, Douglas

How pricing works.
Motor Cargo Express is dedicated to keeping things simple with pallet pricing.
Every customer gets a custom rate negotiation based on:
- Volume (number of pallets, frequency of shipments)
- Lane (origin, destination, accessorials)
- Service tier (same-day, next-day, guaranteed)
We do not publish a public rate card because every shipper's freight profile is different and we would rather quote you accurately than approximately.
What we do not do.
We are honest about our limits. Motor Cargo Express does not handle:
- · Refrigerated or temperature-controlled freight
- · Hazmat-placarded freight
- · Full truckload (over 26,000 lbs combined GVW)
- · International cross-border or customs-bonded freight
